Students are invited to bring their energy and enthusiasm and COME MAKE SOME NOISE! Class time will be spent learning drumming pieces, performing body rhythm, and experimenting with non-instrument percussion sounds. Students will even have a chance to create and share their own rhythm works. No prior musical knowledge is needed to be successful in this hands-on class. The class will conclude with a performance that friends and family are welcome to attend.

Prerequisite: Must demonstrate proficiency and receive approval from Mrs. Larson
for students 1st–8th grade
Students who have already taken Beginning Ukulele are ready to advance their skills! Students in Intermediate Ukulele will learn about chord families and how to play in several different keys. They will also learn more complicated strumming patterns and more challenging songs. Students will focus on proper technique and become proficient at tuning a ukulele. The class will conclude with a recital that friends and family are welcome to attend.

MONDAY
The ukulele is a great introduction instrument for students who want to have fun and play music right away. In fact, students will leave the first class being able to play a song. They will learn strumming patterns and chords (with a little music theory thrown in) and be able to accompany their singing. Ukuleles are provided for in class use. All skill levels are welcome! The class will conclude with a recital that friends and family are welcome to attend.
